A Short History

The Berlin synth-pop duo BlueForge was founded in 2017.

Bjørn, founder and keyboardist of BlueForge, had already lost his heart to the machines with their many keys and controls in the early 90s and was on the road with the formation NewPassion. Unfortunately 2001 was over for the first time, despite some very successful gigs, including on the Insel der Jugend in Berlin.

Even though singer RooDee was also strongly influenced by the electronic music of the 80s, he first developed his charismatic singing in the rock band Rope before joining BlueForge.

But after almost 20 years, the makers of NewPassion are back with their new BlueForge project. Not only the members but also the music has grown up, darker and more melancholy. What remains are catchy melodies and the fun and dedication to music.
